Talk instead of type.No dictation subscription.
I built Murmur to replace the dictation app I was paying for, then kept adding to it. Hold a key and talk into any app on your Mac. It's yours free. Windows is coming soon.
My dictation app
Meet Murmur.Four keys. Every app on your computer.
Mac today Windows coming soon
Murmur is the dictation app that comes with every AIOS. It runs on Mac today, with Windows coming soon. It lives in the menu bar, listens only while you hold a key, and types where your cursor is. These are real screens from the app, with sample data.
On your MacSpeech becomes text on the computer itself, with Apple's on-device engine or Parakeet.
Keys that don't quitRe-arms itself after sleep, screen lock and restarts.
Your shortcuts untouchedA key only counts pressed alone. Murmur watches; it never swallows a keystroke.
Private by defaultHistory stays on your Mac for 30 days. Never sent anywhere or indexed.
Murmur is one piece
Every AIOS comes with it.Then voice runs the rest.
Murmur is the voice layer of the AIOS I build for clients. Ask your business a question out loud, dump three ideas at once and have them filed, or talk a follow-up into existence.
